Whenever the smell of rain hits me,
the scene of streets littered with pedestrians carrying umbrellas,
reminding me... THAT CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

I love Christmas! More so than Chinese New Year (I'm only in it for the ANGPAOS. Muahahaha). However, Christmas is so different! There is warmth, love and joy in the air! Christmas the season of giving, not just materialistic goods but plain love. Hus, kisses, homemade family dinners and many more! Though the boyfriend insisted it is a commercial festial, I mean like who cares? As long as we feel the joy (Jesus was born on Christmas, so God gave this world a blessed joy!) and being surrounded by your loved ones, I think that's the bet feeling in the entire world!

I don't realy dig partying on Christmas, I would rather sit by a fireplace (In Singapore, we have to substitute with matches and candles, better still sit in front of a stove!), snuggle next to my Baby and watch a rented DVD with the entire family whilst having dinner! Nice right? I bet you all want it now! HAHAHA!

Anyway, we all know that since Christmas is nearing, the Christmas-related movies will definitely hit our shores really soon. One movie that is getting everyone excited is... A CHRISTMAS CAROL!

Synopsis:
Disney’s A Christmas Carol, the classic Dickens’ tale, is re-envisioned by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis in a groundbreaking 3-D motion picture event starring JIM CARREY, GARY OLDMAN, BOB HOSKINS and ROBIN WRIGHT PENN.
Ebenezer Scrooge (JIM CARREY) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (GARY OLDMAN) and his cheery nephew (COLIN FIRTH). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.

Do you know Jim Carrey plays 4 roles in this movie? I thought Lindsay Lohan would have a hard time playing 2 roles (twins) in Parent Trap, Jim Carrey! He owns all with this epic 4 roles! Woo-hoo!

It has Taken me with It.

I feel kinda sick after having my first Carl's Junior. Don't know why, it made me nauseas and all I taste is bitterness.

Anyway, I went to catch Taken alone after much persuasion by bff Jas, Xuehui etc. All i can say is, it was an AWESOME show, the best this year in fact. It has action, emotion, thrill and slapstick comedy. My face contorted alot of times, from smiling ear to ear to a scrunched up frown, tense with anticipation. Halfway through the show, I found myself gripping the handles of my seat, biting my index finger raw and sore. Teared a couple of times during the movie. Guess this is what happens when I watch such a show alone. HAHA! Anyhoo, I wouldn't mind catching this show once more it is JUST AMAZING!

Sypnopsis:

Former government operative Bryan Mills begins the longest 96-hours of his life--and the hunt for the fearsome organization that has taken his daughter Kim. Mills had only recently given up his government career as what he calls a "preventer" to be near Kim, who lives with Bryan's ex-wife Lenore and her new husband. To make ends meet, Bryan joins some former colleagues for special security details (like guarding a pop diva), but most of his time and energy are spent re-connecting with Kim. Bryan's familial goal is nearly derailed when Kim requests his permission to spend time in Paris with a friend. All too aware of the dangers that could lie ahead for Kim in a foreign land, Bryan says no, but Kim's disappointment leads him to very reluctantly relent. Bryan's worst fears are realized when Kim and her friend Amanda are suddenly abducted--in broad daylight--from the Paris apartment at which they've just arrived. This show kinda reminds me of the many encounters I had with perverts/molesters/weirdos in my life. I trust too easily and too much some times, that people take advantage of it and where do I end up? On the losing end.

When I was about 6, going to some corporate building together with my parents. We were together in the life with some big shot and his bodyguards. I don't know if he was trying to play with me or what, he started touching me. I was wearing a cute little midriff thingy (well, I was young!). He started to touch my bare stomach. I didn't know what to do. To scream? Tell him off? Mum tried shielding me with her bag, but it didn't help much. My dad? Didn't even notice me. It kinda shows how pathetic I was, in such a situation and my parents couldn't help much.

When I was in Primary 4, this weird guy from school started stalking me. He would follow me to this before and after school care place EVERY SINGLE DAY. On days where he failed to show up, he was busy stalking my other friends, going to their homes, stealing their underwear! Sick eh? I still remembered once, I got so scared, I ran all the way to the centre and he of cos, followed suit. My care person helped me and from then on, he didn't show up. Thank goodness!

I was around 15 when I met this psychotic ass on the bus. We boarded the same bus, 136. I was on the way to meet my sister at her school and he was... stuck on trying to get his dirty hands on me. I was sitting on the outside of an empty two seater seat, there were many seats available but he chose to sit next to me. I didn't realise this of course. So I proceeded to let this oily stinky guy sit inside. I sat a small distance away, cos I didn't wanna touch him . Lol. I started noticing that his hand was doing something weird... Like coming nearer and nearer towards me. I started freaking out then, luckily I had the outside seat advantage and I stood up fast and alighted at my stop. I thought that was the end of it. Until I saw him coming down the bus too. Too bad, stupid molester, I think he thought I was going home, so he can rape/molest me under the block of flats. I headed to the school instead and I think he was surprised and decided to look for more preys.

So guys/fathers/guy friends, if your female friends/girlfriend/daughter is going back home alone or anywhere. Please escort them! You don't know how dangerous the world is, especially with such people existing on Earth. Even though it is troublesome, you can do alot more when you send them off. Rid geeting girls into such situations and please anyone if you happen to notice weird behaviours, do something! Before others get it too.

hello! it's been ages since i've last blogged. I have been super busy these days, preparing for GEMS 4: Fairy Our Tale.

People from all over, please do come and support alright. This time it will be a different kind of production, not just any dance concert, uh-huh uh-huh, we'll be doing a musical!!! Yeah baby~ There will be acting(duh, TPDE is full of drama-mama(s) and drama-papa(s). LOL); dancing; and cheese! HAHAHA. Cheesiness is on of TPDE'sstrong points :D. Don't worry, it'll be a good show, with all the amount of hardwork and time we have been putting, it'll be awesome. So people, please come and support alright! Details below!

went to catch My Bloody Valentine 3D with xiaoqi, jobei, kwzheng just now. all i can say is that movie is bloody stupid. lol. it's so obvious such cases will not happen naturally. kinda regret for wasting my precious $10 on it, i would seriously rather watch Push, hear it's a good movie. will update you guys soon! :)

Slumdog Millionaire is one of the most romantic movies ever!

okay, that's a really brief summary.
but you guys should really catch it!
it's amazing to see how the answers to the questions relate to him.
and how he only loved one woman in his life.
it's just truly amazing.
this show gave me a new perspective in other's and my own life.
really got me thinking.

Rebel caught up on me on Wednesday - which is also Ladies Night!

went with Meimei, Nicole, Kat, Joyce, Iris and Chin
i like the fact that we do not have to pay for the cover charge!!!
went into Rebel, danced abit.
the music's kinda weird at first,
but it got better,
tonnes of new songs were out in the club already.
went to The Arena next,
for Sex on the Beach!
it's kinda diluted.
i drank 4 glasses, only the third and fourth ones had a reasonably adequate amount of alcohol.
but still, i was feeling 'tired' after the drinks.
went back to Rebel and danced our ass off.
we had this mini competition whereby we have to get a drink from a guy(s).
okay, only nicole and kat passed.
but we had a good number of guys wanting to dance up to us okay!!!!
yes, each of us had!
hahahaha.

okay 3 things that made me happy that night.
1. I smack a guy in the face akkseedentalee!!!!!!!!!
: i was high and yeah, sorry! i felt really bad. hahaha. okay maybe this is not the first happiest, maybe the third?

2. MEIQI GOT DRAGGED OUT OF HER 'TIRED' MODE BY A GUY TO DANCE!!!!!!!!!!
: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. it was hilarious.

3. I GOT HUGGED BY THIS "THUNDER DOWN UNDER' guy.
: why? he said i was shy, and that was my first hug by a random angmoh!!!!!

anyway, it was a fun night.
enjoyed myself with the girls.
yay, i like the fact that we are 18 and legal.
nicole met her friend Jay or is it J??
and we headed to Music Garage(he is the owner.) after dancing till lights out.
he's a really sweet and nice guy
offering all of us help!!!
really too nice already,
he invited all of us to his birthday party next Saturday,
but he didn't even know my name till i was leaving the studio.
LOL.
speaking of which, i'm so in love with the studio apartment!
it's comfortable, cosy and just wonderful!

that's how i ended up alone.
