it's the end of the road

Suntec Dance 2008.
has finally ended.
Last night, we ran our final lap,
did our best,
conquering our obstacles and fear.
Even though I could have done better,
I feally give mad props to the winners.
Electroshoyts(they have some weird spelling), even though I didn't like them biting,
but we have to just face it,
they were good.
Tight, synchronised and their techniques were strong.
The thing that puts people off is that, they are malaysians.
LOL.
Sick was dope too,
love their thriller concept.
And of cos our beloved Independent Crew did well.
The expressions were simply... Priceless.
I'm really happy for them!

reVogue, our journey has ended,
but we have just started a new journey on a different path.
The times we have spent together,
taught us many valuable lessons,
in being a better dancer, a better person.
I'll miss training with you girls,
all the arguements, burping sessions, accidental farts, saliva dripping, scoldings from Gin and always slurping our food down to not be late.
From the auditions to the finals,
the past month has been tiring and mind boggling,
but at least we reached one of our goals: to be in the finals!

To Iris: Thanks for always encouraging us in a monotonous voice. Lol
To Kat: Thanks for always secretely laughing at people in one corner, makes you look like some cheekopeh. Haha.
To Joyce: Thanks for always being so understanding and encouraging.

To Steph: Thanks for burping more times then me, so Kat and Joey will not remember the times I have burped!!!! HAHAHA

training resumes at O School today,
I feel so loved by Junwei,
he bought the whole of reVogue cooling tea!!!
So sweet of him right?
He even went the extra mile,
to deliver them at O School,
supporting also morally too.

I really miss the presence of Urban Stance in O School,
no more Royston, Andy and Nelson to rush to the rain station with.

My baby has finally arrived!
I waited the entire day for the courier guy to come,
and it came like late in the afternoon,
when I was rushing to leave my house!
But....
I still managed to touch my iTouch and love it!
HAHAHA.
Okay, i feel like an idiot,
but I didn't really know how to use it.
I was wondering what I should do,
how to use the menu,
how to go back to main menu and such.
I literally forgot the existence of manuals,
until somewhere in my brain sparked that thought.
However, the manual was useless.
It didn't really explain how and I kinda figured the use of it myself in the end :)

So if there's any cool applications to add into my iTouch can some kind soul tell me?
I want the games thingy and videos thingy.
LOL.

Okay I finally have the time and energy to update my blog!!!!
These few days was just hectic man,
training, mugging and eating like nobody's business.
Finally, all three papers, FAOM, Marketing Research and CB are done!
I'm left with the killer MBS - More Bull Shit
and Suntec Heats to worry about.
:)))))))))))))))))

Anyway, more about reVogue,
we have been trying to update our style recently due to Gin's advice.
Hmm.. actually more of portraying an image.
And yeah.. so we all did.
Kat looks like a pretty predator.
Joyce looks like asian cleopatra.
Joey looks like she has grown taller(weird, but yeah. lol).
Iris looks as if she has a wig, but seriously it just looks like any other short hairstyle.
Beau looks like the cuter version of Sun Ho.
Steph looks like... she has longer hair? LOL.
And, I look like a boy.
Its really sad, I should have held onto my beloved hair that I grew so long.
Now the bimbo, Royston says I look like a butch.
And Junwei says I should join their crew instead.
LOL.
yes, its that bad.
The worst thing is,
I cannot be bothered to style my hair.
It stands naturally, so why bother?
In fact, I spend most of my mornings while brushing my teeth,
trying to flatten that wild hair of mine.
Kaiwen says I look like a bird,
I think its that big yellow one from Sesame Street.






I know... OHMYGOODDDDDDDDDDD.
Instead of looking cool,
I look like..

I'm praying that my hair grows faster,

Speaking of birds,
today at BizPark,
I was sitting at a table near the aunties who clear the dishes.
At their table, there will be tonnes of leftover food and such.
So... the existence of the stupid birds are inevitable.

Bird Incident #1
When I put down my bag on a seat,
I looked to my right and see this bird flying at eye level towards me.
Luckily I bent down in time,
if not,
I think Kat who was at the scene will be laughing like a predator.

Bird Incident #2
As I was about to leave the table,
the auntie suddenly swing her towel at the bird,
and the stupid bird was like sitting next to me instead!
I was like "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!",
screaming my ass off in the cafeteria.
I bet like tonnes of other people were secretly laughing in their hearts.
Its not that I blame them,
cos I was laughing at that incident too.
LOL.
I swear it was super hilarious,
it shocked me so much that I forgot whatever terms that I tried to memorise for my coming test.
How great!

Anyway, I did not attend modern cos my body is wearing out.
There's this vein that does not seem alright on my legs.
Is there anyone who is a pro and can check for me?
F.O.C that is.
Heh.
Alright shall make a move first,

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE~
reVogue, Independent Crew and Urban Stance Crew got into Suntec Heats!!!!!!!!!
The journey has just started,
and there will be more obstacles in our way,
but I am sure we will conquere it.
That's if we work together,
for the same goal,
not forgetting our steps,
and of cos enjoying ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a tad load of drama before the event,
two days before I contemplated in quiting the team.
I just didn't have faith in myself,
and I was trying to hide yet again.

Friday, these text messages flooded my inbox,
WARNING THIS IS ALMOST THE EXACT TEXT MESSAGE FROM ANDREAS, PARDON HIS ENGLISH.
Andreas: Hey girls, I know this is kind of random. :) just want to tell you guys that you all have my full support. No matter how difficult it is during preparation for tmr competition. Whether be it time constraint or other things. Jusr relaxed and have faith in yourself. I believe you guys can definitely do it yea!! But no use if people in you guys. You guys have to believe in yourself first.:) so many fallbacks you guys have experienced differently. This is just another thing for you guys to overcome!!:) face this whole thing as a team. Pull each other up and make sure everyone have a common goal. It will appear to be much stronger when you guys fight the battle. So ladies go for it man!!:) if you want it then just chiong. Goodbye :)

When I was reading this,
I had been crying the whole time.
I made so many wrong decisions that day
and I decided,
I do not want to make another wrong one by leaving them.

Girls, let's aim for the finals.
I'm sure we can do it!

Went for Festival of Praise straight after the competition,
it was amazing.
3 hours of praise and worship.
Nicole and I were like CHIONG CHIONG CHIONG.
That was the real battle,
to keep ourselves awake.
Mike Connor's speech was great,
his illustrations were depicted so vividly I could get it in an instant.

After which we headed to this claypot rice place to have our dinner at 11pm.
It was really really good.
The bill amounted to $179 for 11people,
ryan, andrea, xuehui, daniel, aaron, schizo, sha, charlotte, calynne, kyle and i.
Guess what?
Ryan paid for our bill,
i felt so bad,
the xuehui suggested we stand one line outside the shop and say
"Thank you Ryan Korkor and Andrea JieJie"
and we did.
LOL.
Twice in fact.
Daniel was like our officer with the shop's broom in hand,
giving us the command.
Hilarious man, i say.
Then Xuehui was like,
Xuehui: Since we are so tired why not book into happy hotel.
for your info, we are at geylang and happy hotel is a hotel across the street from the claypot place.
Me: Are you crazy??!?!??!?!
Daniel: Eh you don't scare me leh!!!!!!!!
