City Alive! 2009

hello world.
haven't been blogging much,
been busy catching up on sleep, look after sick people and supporting FUTURISTIX!

so had training yesterday,
came to a conclusion.
we suck.
actually i came to it a long time ago.
just that it was re-emphasied yesterday.
i know many felt demoralised and such,
cos all these while, no one has been praising us.
trying hard is not enough.
fighting against our bodies does not even hit the basic standards.
training techniques?
why are we still the same?
i don't get it anymore.
it's decreasing the happiness i feel in dance sometimes.

went for City Alive 2009! yesterday to support Futuristix.
Funkamania was held in conjuction with Chingay this year.
really clever of them to do that,
but having to pay for the entry is a pain in the ass.
thank goodness i made kaiwen answer somequestion to get free tickets.
it was kinda weird somehow,
as most of the teams felt like showcases instead of them competing.
but there were many amazing dancers that night!
i have to give props to trademark for making it seem like no kick,
they just did their thing so chillaxified.
lol.
the girls in ruffjacks stood out,
a malay girl and this girl wearing the scarf :)
and of cos there's Mazlan!!!!!!
from Pink Dollars who went home Champs that night!
Mazlan's really dope,
he does not have to overdo it and he'sthe most decent one in his team.
the way he moves his body is like art.
lastly, our tpde babie!

they did better than the other time.
love the front part of their choreography.

we partied abit after that.
started our own battle before random people started entering which totally killed it.
ugh.
spent the rest of the time stoning, drinking my lime barcadi <3 and chilling. the night ended with all of us heading to Macs for supper. yum yum. okay i gotta do my IJ now, and study for my test on tuesday! PICS BELOW!
